Late Summer Sourwood Honey

This honey is from the tail end of the sourwood bloom, as the sourwood nectar was slowing up and the bees were beginning to bring in clover nectar.  It is a heavy viscous honey with traditional flavor and is unlikely to crystallize.

Every batch of our raw unfiltered honey is curated for maximum flavor and terroir.  We crush and strain our honeycomb, instead of using an extractor, and never indiscriminately mix honey varieties, so the honey you are tasting is as authentic as possible, exactly as the bees made it!

One pint plastic jar.  Approximately 23 ounces by weight.  The picture shows "16 ounces", but that was a labeling error that will be corrected on future jars.
